What It’s Really Like to Work With Impact Enclosures

Interior of a pool screen enclosure with a screen roof by Impact Enclosures in Jacksonville, FL

It’s exciting to plan a project that lets you fully embrace Florida outdoor living. But before you commit, you probably have questions that go beyond what your finished space will look like.

How will you know what’s happening throughout the project? Who handles engineering, permits, and HOA approvals? Will you have to coordinate contractors yourself? And what kind of support will you have after construction is complete?

At Impact Enclosures, we believe it’s important for you to understand what working with us will feel like before you ever sign an agreement. Our team provides clear communication, thoughtful guidance, and hands-on coordination, so you can stay involved in the important decisions while we handle the rest.

Here’s what that actually looks like.

It Starts With Understanding What You Want From Your Outdoor Space

Your first meeting is about understanding your goals for your outdoor space, not just choosing an enclosure or materials. During the initial 60-minute consultation, we’ll learn about your lifestyle, the space you’re working with, how you want to change it, and the ideas you’re already thinking about.

Together, we’ll explore design possibilities and talk through your budget, timeline, and the options that fit your home. It’s also a great time to get to know us, learn how the Impact process works, and get answers to your questions before deciding whether to move forward.

You’ll Be Able to See the Vision Before We Build It

A conversation and measurements alone are hard to translate into a picture of a finished outdoor space, which is why visualization is a core part of the Impact Enclosures experience.

Our team develops a custom 3D design for your property, whether you’re building a pool enclosure, screen room, pergola, or other outdoor living solution. As your project moves through site surveying and engineering preparation, you’ll get to see and approve a final 3D rendering before we start building.

The Complicated Details Don’t Become Your To-Do List

Engineering, municipal permits, HOA requirements, site information, documentation, and inspections are essential for many outdoor projects… but who wants to deal with them?

When you work with Impact, you don’t have to. Our team handles the site survey, engineering preparations, submitting necessary permit documentation, coordinating applicable HOA approvals, and following up as those processes progress.

The timelines for these items depend on your municipality or community and are outside of any contractor’s direct control. Our job is to keep those details organized, follow up as needed, and keep your project moving through each required stage.

Your Project Is Designed for Florida Conditions

We incorporate engineering into our projects to meet applicable local codes and high-wind requirements.

Depending on the type of project you choose, construction can also include details selected for long-term performance in Florida’s climate, including:

  • Stainless fasteners
  • Heavy-duty screens
  • Upgraded drainage components
  • American-manufactured parts
  • Other product-specific materials

The exact materials might vary between projects, but our commitment to quality does not.

You Won’t Have to Wonder What’s Going On

A lot can happen between signing an agreement and beginning construction. You shouldn’t have to guess where your project stands during that time.

Once you decide to move forward with us, your project moves from our sales team into operations, where we set everything up internally and coordinate the next stages. You’ll receive information about what comes next, and our team will confirm anything we need from you along the way.

Before construction begins, we’ll also schedule a pre-construction meeting to make sure everyone is aligned, and you know what to expect once work begins.

You Can Enjoy the Project Without Having to Manage the Job

You shouldn’t suddenly become the project manager once construction begins. At Impact Enclosures, we coordinate the trades involved in your project, manage materials and inspections, and oversee the work as your new outdoor living upgrade takes shape.

We’ll keep you informed and involved where we actually need your input, but you won’t have to organize all the moving pieces yourself.

Completion Comes With a Walkthrough & Continued Support

You shouldn’t have to feel like your contractor just packed up and disappeared when construction wraps up. Once your project is complete, we conduct a final walkthrough with you to review the finished work, make sure it meets our standards and yours, and identify anything that still needs attention.

We’ll also review the warranty coverage that applies to your specific project so you understand how your investment is protected after construction. Product coverage varies and can include Impact Enclosures labor warranties as well as additional manufacturer warranties.

You should know what stands behind your finished project and who to call if you need us later.

The Impact Guarantee

Trust is easier when you have clear expectations. That’s why we back our client experience with three specific guarantees.

On-Time Start

When we confirm a start date with you, we take that commitment seriously. Our guarantee includes your money back if your project doesn’t start on that date.

Clear Communication

You should never feel like you have to chase down your contractor to understand what’s going on. We guarantee communication will be maintained to our standards throughout your project, or your money back.

High Quality

Quality applies to both craftsmanship and materials. We stand behind the standard of work we deliver and back that commitment with our guarantee.

These aren’t just promises about your finished product. They’re commitments to the experience you have along the way.

Start With Clear Expectations

Creating a new outdoor space should be something to look forward to, not a project that leaves you confused and frustrated.

If you’re thinking about a new outdoor living space in Jacksonville, Nocatee, Ponte Vedra, or the surrounding area, tell us what you want it to become, and we’ll help you understand what it takes to make it happen.

What happens at my first meeting with Impact Enclosures?expand_more

Your first consultation is a 60-minute conversation focused on understanding your space, lifestyle, goals, budget, timeline, and design ideas. We’ll also explain how we work and give you an opportunity to ask questions before deciding how you want to move forward.

Will I be able to see what my project will look like before construction?expand_more

Yes. Impact Enclosures creates a custom 3D design for your property, and you’ll receive a final 3D rendering for approval as the project moves through surveying and engineering preparation.

Do I have to handle permits, engineering, or HOA approvals myself?expand_more

No. At Impact Enclosures, we coordinate engineering, file the required permits with the appropriate municipality, and work through applicable HOA approvals. We keep track of these details and keep you informed throughout your project.

How will I know what’s happening with my project?expand_more
Communication is built into the Impact Enclosures experience. We keep you updated as your project moves from planning and approvals into construction, including when we need information or decisions from you. Clear communication is also one of the commitments included in the Impact Guarantee.
Will I need to manage subcontractors or trades during construction?expand_more

No, the Impact team coordinates the trades, materials, and inspections involved with your project. You stay informed and involved where needed without having to manage construction yourself.

How long will my project take?expand_more

Your timeline depends on the type and scope of your project, but most of the outdoor living solutions we build take five to seven days or more to complete.

For example, the active build time for a pool enclosure is about five days without foundation work, while wood pergolas typically take five to seven days to build, including spot footers. Screen rooms might take longer depending on the project details.

What Our Clients Think

"let me tell you working with these guys start to finish was a breeze... the quote they wrote us was extremely reasonable, they had a variety of neat options that I've never even seen before (hose hook up, one way flaps to let water OUT....). The office kept us informed of rising aluminum prices and how we could keep the costs down. They stayed in touch with us the entire way and I cannot begin to say how supportive they were with my last minute changes and alterations. we are so so so happy with our screen, the patio is now LIVABLE. Do not hesitate to give these guys a call you will not be disappointed!"
