The clients approached us with a clear vision: transform their outdated and malfunctioning pool area into a stunning, functional outdoor space. They had an existing screen enclosure and a composite roof that had seen better days.
The super gutter was too small, causing overflow and fascia rot. The old composite roof, which was poorly integrated, led to debris buildup and further damage. On top of that, the pool enclosure was no longer up to code, with torn screens, rusted screws, and non-operable doors.
With the roof integrated, the drainage issue resolved, and the new screen enclosure in place, the clients now have a beautiful, functional pool area.
The result is a resort-like retreat right in their backyard, combining style and functionality seamlessly. The new space not only meets all current codes but also exceeds the client's expectations, providing them with a safe, stylish, and highly functional outdoor area.

We began by tearing down all the old structures and fixing the roof rot and fascia. To prevent future issues, we seamlessly integrated the new composite roof into the existing roofline, eliminating the need for a problematic gutter. Architectural shingles were added, and the roof's underside was wrapped with painted tongue and groove and board and batten for a polished look.
Next, we sloped the foundation away from the doors using crush creative and pavers, ensuring proper drainage. A larger deck drain with a removable lid was installed for easy cleaning. The new 7” Supergutter with 4x5 downspouts ensured efficient drainage, and Impact drains were added for smooth water flow through the base plates, making it easy to spray off the pool deck.
The new screen enclosure featured Superscreen with a 10-year warranty, robust enough to withstand falling branches from the surrounding trees. The Mega View walls provided an unobstructed view of the landscape, eliminating the need for multiple posts. The cedar tongue and groove ceiling, painted to match, added a touch of sophistication.
The aluminum extrusion framework and stainless steel fasteners ensured longevity and durability, preventing rust and future maintenance issues. Hardie lap knee walls were also painted to complement the design, and low-voltage sconces and landscape lighting enhanced the ambiance, making the space perfect for evening gatherings.
